With ventoy, you dont need to format the disk over and over, you just need to copy the ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD (x)/EFI. There are specific and very valid reasons why I do what I do. Ventoy is a tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD (x)/EFI files. In your Kubuntu system, you can parted -s /dev/sdb set 1 boot on and then it should be recognized in Windows. So the partition table must be changed after ventoy install. But in your USB stick, the active flag of partition1/2/3 are all not set. Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO files. I tried using and a different tool that, opposed to Ventoy, creates a USB-Stick with just one system. I tried getting Windows 10 and Windows 7 booted off an usb-stick, but both failed. Once Ventoy is installed onto a USB drive, there is no need to reformat the disk to update it with new installation files it is enough to copy the.
